Expanding small animal independent practice requires additional colleague. Personal mentorship, with separate VetGDP advisor if relevant.

ECC/OOH Night Vet

The role would be providing out of hours and emergency care to our registered patients. The practice would be happy to support training towards a post graduate certificate in emergency medicine.

The rota is based on a 7nights on 14 nights off. A generous CPD allowance of up to £300 year, with paid CPD leave and paid holiday.

Salary £65000-75000 depending on experience.

RVN Theatre Nurse required at The Meopham Veterinary Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate RVN to work as Head Theatre Nurse at our main hospital.

The Meopham Veterinary Hospital is a busy practice with three other branch surgeries where overall we have a team of 16 vets, 27 nurses and 8 receptionists.

Our practice has excellent facilities such as CT, digital radiography, dental, orthopaedic and endoscopy equipment.

We are lucky enough to see a wide variety of cases such as TPLO’S, TECA’s, soft tissue surgeries, lap spays, endoscopy procedures, referrals from other practices as well as a visiting orthopaedic specialist.

Working as the theatre nurse you will manage the daily team of nurses and operating veterinary surgeons in theatre, prepare patients for surgery, assist during procedures, monitor anaesthetics, daily ordering, maintain cleanliness of the clinical area and prepare equipment for the following days procedures.

We can offer a great team and friendly environment, the opportunity to gain more experience with excellent equipment, as well as the opportunity to develop and progress. Many of our vets and nurses are studying various certificates.

This is a full time permanent position with a shared weekend and bank holiday rota.

Salary of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

RVN or Final Year Student VN Required at The Meopham Veterinary Hospital

The successful candidate will join our busy and friendly hospital of 28 nurses and 16 vets across our main hospital and two branch practices.

Our practice has excellent facilities such as CT scanner, digital radiography, orthopaedic equipment, hydrotherapy and grooming. We are lucky enough to see a wide variety of cases with many of our vets and nurses studying for various certificates.

We are looking for an RVN with the desire to take on clinical coaching of trainee nurses, or a final year student wanting to progress into a larger and busier environment. We can offer a great team and friendly environment, the opportunity to gain more experience with excellent equipment, as well as the opportunity to develop and progress.
